theGAP Programme is a ministry support experience that has come about over time to help support people who move to Moree to volunteer and be involved in the gospel ministry work with Maruma-li Community Ministries. theGAP aims to support disciples of Jesus to explore and grow in the implementation of gospel values that are foundational to a life of Christian ministry and service.
There are various aspects that knit together to create a unique ministry experience over 12 months. Volunteers who come to join in the ministries for more than 2 weeks are strongly encouraged to join in the study aspect of theGAP as this is where the majority of the support and debriefing takes place.
There is no age limit to theGAP programme – we love inter-generational fellowship. We would encourage people to come out for a week or two first to experience the ministry first hand – this can often help with decision making.
